BYD MARY JONES
Work is nearing completion on the new reception building at Mary Jones World. This forms phase 2 of the overall contract works which also included the formation of a new car park and the conversion of a grade 2 listed church.
The centre will tell the story of Mary Jones, the founding of the Bible Society by Thomas Charles and it’s work across the world.

The project has been procured using BIM methodologies of working including using Revit to:
- Develop design visuals with the clients.
- Produce the steelwork design which was in turn handed over to the steel fabricators to prepare their model using Tekla. Their model was imported back into the master model as an .ifc file to check co- ordination prior to fabrication.
- All service roots and installations are currently being modelled into the virtual building to ensure there are no co- ordination issues on site.
